I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, particularly the attentive and cheerful staff who went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, offering lovely views of the nearby park. Breakfast was good with a good variety of options.
Parking can be a hassle.

The air conditioning device did not work and the bed was too hard. We were not warned that this was a gourmet restaurant and therefore disappointed with the lack of food. There was no garden or courtyard to facilitate smokers. We paid 100 euros for wine which we later found in a supermarket for 12 euros. What a rip off!

The hotel was high quality and the location was amazing and exceptionally nice near the non-working outlet, a nice park close to the center, and the train station. We got a double room which was absolutely gorgeous.

Large walkout balcony offering amazing views of the neighboring Parc Mistrel and surrounding mountains. Spacious living/dining area great, and the bathroom stocked with Clarins products adds a nice touch.
Parking can be a hassle, especially if your vehicle exceeds 180cm in height, with only three hotel reserved spaces available. The internet connection is unreliable, failing to work properly in the bedroom and completely dropping out towards the end of the stay. The shower stall shows wear, and the narrow door causes water to splash out.

The comfort of the hotel and the relative closeness to the city centre.
1. The week - end waiting staff at breakfast were rude and didn't want us there (especially Saturday Morning). 2. The week staff were excellent and could not do enough for us. 3. Reception staff were good. 4. Rooms were clean tidy. 5. No Bar on a Sunday is bad for a city hotel.

Bed with excellent mattress. Air conditioning top (various settings - can also be switched off). Suite is really big. Very quiet rooms because of 1 front window and a separate double glazed inner window. Minibar and coffee in room (Nespresso machine) are free of charge - but small quantities which are refilled every day. Big, good TV, but only with French channels. Large bathroom with large walk-in shower and separate bathtub. Very surprising: shower products, shampoo, hair care, body milk, etc. free of charge and top quality from Clarins! Friendly cleaning tadpole. Tram stop only 2 minutes walk away.
Writing furniture with TV is wobbly. WC set is wobbly. Air conditioning in reception area, bar, breakfast room set too cold. The top comfort of the suite should actually be completed with a shower toilet from Geberit, then this hotel would be practically unrivalled in this price range. Free WLAN works, but on a modest level (slow, occasionally connection breaks down, especially in the evening when the WLAN is used by many guests).

The classic room was impressively comfortable with wonderful blackout curtains, and the lobby's classic-modern decor created a nice ambiance. The complimentary mini-bar with water and a soft drink was a pleasant surprise.

Some of the bar staff were good, i.e. polite and freindly.
some of the staff were rude. The room that i booked online was crap and nothing like i expected given the photos supplied online. According to the reception this was because i had "only paid the discounted price" lol.

This wasn't what I expected, Good or Bad?
The modern room featured a spacious layout and fine views of nearby Parc Mistrel. Plus, the staff were friendly.
Unfortunately, parking was quite a hassle, requiring me to walk a considerable distance to access my vehicle, frustrating during rainy weather.

Good continental breakfast can be ordered the night before to be brought to your room. Includes delicious French breads.
Few amenities (no gym or pool). Continental breakfast is a little on the expensive side.

The room was very comfortable and clean but the the hotel is overpriced and to offer breakfast for a further 15 euros per person is very expensive so we chose not to eat in the hotel for this very reason. Tea/Coffee facilities would have been nice.
